History
The first edition of the Annual was published in Lugano, Switzerland, and entitled “The 1951 A.T.F.S. International Athletic Annual.” The joint editors were Fulvio Regli and Dr. Roberto Quercetani.

Virtually all editions prior to 1980 are out of stock. Many subsequent editions are obtainable from the A.T.F.S.; write to info@atfs.org. Note that the 1975-1978 editions did not include any Women's lists. The best source for these was "START" magazine, the quarterly bulletin of the Czech Group. START 2/75, 2/76, 3/77 and 3/78 were the relevant issues.

"The ATFS Golden Jubilee Book"
Published in August 2000 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the organisation, this book contains a diverse series of articles contributed by 41 members from 20 countries. The material has been collated and edited by Roberto Quercetani and Bob Phillips.
Price US $10 (cash or postal order payable to ATFS).
"Track and Field Performances Through The Years"
Work has been under way since the late 1960s to produce annual lists for the years prior to the founding of the A.T.F.S. The results are contained in a series of volumes covering (1) 1929-1936; (2) 1937-1944; (3) 1945-1950 and (4) 1921-1928. The fifth volume will cover the 1900-1910 period.
Principal compilers have been Roberto Quercetani, Rooney Magnusson, Donald Potts and Nejat Kök, with assistance from Eric Cowe, Scott Davis, Wally Donovan, Palle Lassen, Luigi Mengoni, Fulvio Regli and Otto Verhoeven.
